On the Road for 180 Days

All we see is trees on the side
At home we were bored, so this we tried.
Kicked the usual routine for something better
On a trip, away from the bewildering sounds and chatter.

What we saw around you ask?

The sky changing colours like chemicals in a flask.
The shadows of people on the horizon,
Playing around them is the light of the sun.

The road is now our constant companion,

It greets us when we have a reunion.
Every road different than the other,
Some are enemies of our tyres and some are brothers.

They say that all roads lead to Rome,
But now they have become our home.
The car is like a child, we want it to relish,
Just that every 3rd day, we have to nourish.

Endless love to mother nature

For her care towards every creature.
We saw her beauty by a drive,
Not a poster which has to thrive

Now the spirit in us forever stays

For we have spent on drive a hundred-and-eighty days.
We have seen all that we were destined to,
Now we will be happy if life bids adieu.

We are ready for the future

To know and grow with every feature.
Kindle that fire which stays within,
A sense as strong as a person's breathing
